I love this book. As I was reading, time seemed to slip away, and the story took my mind to a nice place. This book is a pleasant experience. Both the story and book cover are beautiful. I think a lot of people will relate because it's about a woman who needs to leave an unhappy relationship with a person that does not appreciate her. She takes a chance on someone who loves her, and it is a good decision. I found myself caring about Lucy, and I liked that she found her strength. Her story is inspiring. A beautiful book.

Really liked the characters

Lynda Gray’s “A Love to Remember” is a romance novel that follows a newly divorced woman as she navigates a budding romance and confronts the darkness in her past. The main character, Lucy Pembrooke, moves back to her step mom’s idyllic mansion, located at a vineyard, after parting ways with her cheating husband, Thomas. Her time at the mansion is somewhat strained by the presence of her step mom, Loretta, who has been more focused on her many husbands than her children. The presence of the handsome bestselling author Christian Black brings joy to the situation, although Christian has a reputation for being promiscuous. One of the great things about this novel is that the plot develops organically. The reader gets to read about every step of Lucy’s transition from her marriage to her relationship with Christian. Another highlight of the novel is the cast of characters, from the warm and friendly hired helper Julian to the manipulative, selfish step mom Loretta. A good read for any romance fan.

A great soap opera book!

Those of you who believe in love, love at first sight and enjoy sitting on the edge of their chair, flipping through pages trying to see if boy gets girl will enjoy!
I really enjoyed the book, but got frustrated with Lucy and Christian at times. They both seemed a bit use to getting what they want. I wonder if it's love or if it's an ego trip that they are on. As you can see, the book lures you, and before long you will be all in Lucy's business.
I think I love and respect Loretta way more than her step-daughter does. I really hope Lynda Gray does a book two because I still have so many questions. I want to know how Thomas reacted? I want to know if Loretta and Tobias stay married, and of course I want to know what happens with Lucy, Christian and how her girls react to the newness of everything!
