Julian surprised me with how much I enjoyed his story...

ORIGINAL REVIEW: 4 stars -- OK, seriously fun to get glimpses back in the Barnes household. Loved this story of Julian....didn't think I would end up liking him. I mean...I like plots in Erotica, but I don't expect much. I really did enjoy his transition though... Entertaining and arousing.

ON REREAD: 4 stars -- I'm in the middle of rereading this series (and the Bliss series) and I figured why not throw my reviews up on the blog! I pretty much agree with my original review. Obviously it's awesome to catch glimpses of so many characters I've grown to really love and enjoy...and to see glimpses of stories to come (even though I've already read them, seeing the teasers and knowing what is coming can be fun sometimes). While I thoroughly enjoy reading m�nage (particularly M/M/F) erotica, as well as BDSM, it's more like a reading fantasy than a real one. What I find, personally, is that these books have made me a bit fascinated with the culture. Not enough to explore it, but it's like understanding different kinds of people. And I'm not naive enough to assume that the author got it all right, but I do enjoy the way it is portrayed. I love that all the characters have backstory and depth, and that you get to see some of what makes the big bad Dom need his control so badly.

One of the other things I love about this series, and had entirely forgotten, is the element of suspense and...action? Thriller? There's always a bad guy, and a desperate (sometimes life or death) situation. So I not only get some fabulous steam, I get a dose of (sometimes unrealistic) action too.

But my favourite part in this book comes when Julian chastises Finn for letting his own shame bring Dani down and make her question her desires. He says ,"You are only on the outside because you're trying to fit into your idea of the normal world. The world is what you make it, Finn. There are as many worlds as there are people. This is your world. You are the only one who can force yourself out of it." Deep.

Now I need to try to remember how I felt about the previous books so I can write better reviews for them too. I'm all backwards.

Julian Lodge, Finn Taylor and Danielle Bay's book

I love this Texas Siren series. Siren Enslaved is book three. We meet Julian Lodge in the first 2 books and Siren Enslaved is his book. I am so thankful that Sophie Oak gives her readers updates regarding the previous characters from the first two books. I fell in love with the trio Sam, Jack and Abby in Small Town Siren and Siren in the City so it was simply wonderful to get little snippets on how they are doing four years later.

Julian Lodge is a bit mysterious in the first two books. As a reader you know he is billionaire rich, a major DOM and you get the impression he is a bit wounded. I was so excited that Siren Enslaved was going to be his book. I wanted to know more about him.
Julian literally picks up Danielle as she is escaping her wedding before she's said her vows and they have immediate chemistry. I had to giggle picturing the scene play out in front of me. Yards of tulle, material and sequence all squished in a sports car speeding away from the church. It was rather humourous.

Dani's best friend is Finn and he has been her best friend since early school years. She has always loved him but knows that he is gay. Truth is that Finn is actually bi and he is in total love with Dani. He's just too scared to do anything about it. He knows that he can't be 100% committed to her because his urge to be with men is to strong and he'd never want to cheat on her or hurt her. So he does without.

What I love about this series is that even though Siren Enslaved is scorching hot hot hot, there is also a great story here. Siren Enslaved has a multitude of lover conflict between the trio as well as the side story regarding the threat on Julian's life. Siren Enslaved ties all of this drama, love and sex into a smoking hot little bundle. Please ignore the cover because that is nowhere near to how I picture the characters. I'd be interested to hear if other fans feel the same way.

Super hot sex - M/M/F, toys, BDSM, toys and anal. So good!

Sophie has done it again. Loved, loved, loved this book. The first two were excellent. This one is my favorite so far. Hoping there will be a 4th, 5th and 6th in this series!!!

I don't want to say to much and ruin it for someone who has not read the book yet!! But.....Julian, Finn and Dani are just wonderful!!!! I really loved how Jack, Sam and Abby were a big part of this book. Loved the insite Sophie gives into Lucas and Lexi. I even enjoyed Leo and am hoping he gets a book of his own.

This is a must read!!!!
